To help keep accounts secure and ensure users always see the most up-to-date account settings, our system includes an automatic logout feature.
Inactivity Logout
If a student or educator account is inactive for 60 minutes, the system will log the user out. A 5-minute notification will appear before the logout occurs, giving users time to remain logged in if needed.
Logout After Account Changes
In addition to inactivity rules, users are automatically logged out if certain account changes are made. For example: If a user’s role is updated (such as being upgraded from a teacher to a school admin), the system will log the user out.
The next time the user signs in, they will see their updated permissions and account access.
This ensures that all role and permission changes take effect immediately and securely.
