Only individuals with School Portal Admin access have the ability to add and remove themselves as Co-Teachers.
1. Log in to Sown To Grow
2. Select the Classrooms & Users menu button, also found in the Manage drop down.
3. Click on Classrooms on the left side navigation bar. Next you will select Join to add self as a co-teacher. Once you have joined a class, you will now see a green button with your initials inside. (Other co-teachers will show as a gray button). Once you have joined a classroom, select the Go to class button to join the class.
Note: when you select to Go to class, a new browser tab will open for you allowing you to navigate back to your admin view easily.
4. After making your selection, you will automatically be taken to that classroom. A banner at the top center of the page will indicate that this is a Co-teacher classroom (A). You will also see an eye icon in the bottom-right corner of the classroom tab for any classroom where you are assigned as a co-teacher.
On the teacher home page, all modules will appear in the Check-Ins section (B). Each module will show whether there are any unread reflections or unread alerts. Select the module where you would like to respond to student reflections.
5. Click on the Reply button by the reflection you are responding to.
6. Enter your response, or select one of the suggested response options. Once you are ready to send the response, press the green Save button.
Congratulations! You have provided a student a response to their reflection!
