Only individuals with School Portal Admin access have the ability to add and remove themselves as Co-Teachers. To add yourself as a co-teacher and response to students reflections, follow these steps or watch this short video.
1. Log in to Sown To Grow
2. Select the Classrooms & Users menu button, also found in the Manage drop down.
3. Click on Classrooms on the left side navigation bar. Next you will select Join to add self as a co-teacher. Once you have joined a class, you will now see a green button with your initials inside. (Other co-teachers will show as a gray button). Once you have joined a classroom, select the Go to class button to join the class.
Note: when you select to Go to class, a new browser tab will open for you allowing you to navigate back to your admin view easily.
4. You will automatically land in the classroom you selected. You will see a banner at the top middle of your page indicating that this is a Co-teacher classroom as well as an eye icon at the bottom right of the classroom tab you are the co-teacher for.
5. Select the module you want to review by clicking its name on the left or the banner in the center. You'll land on the Insights page.
6. Click on the green Response button.
Note: To view a specific week’s reflections, use the dropdown menu at the top of the Insights page.
7. Select one of the suggested response options or enter in one of your own. Click reply to finish it off.
Congratulations! You have provided a student a response to their reflection!
